Lotus Addiction and Recovery Center
Recovery comes with a lot of unknowns. Here are answers to the questions Shivani hears most often – so you can feel informed and confident before taking your first step.
No referral is needed. You can contact us directly to schedule your first appointment. If you’re unsure whether our services are the right fit, reach out and we’ll talk it through with you.
Your first visit is a comprehensive intake assessment. Shivani will review your health history, current substance use, medications, and recovery goals. Nothing is rushed – this session is about understanding your full picture so we can build the right treatment plan for you.
Completely. Most patients feel some fear or uncertainty before their first contact. You don’t need to have everything figured out to call or message us. Taking that first step is enough.
Appointments are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You can join from your phone, tablet, or computer – from home, your car, or anywhere private. All you need is an internet connection.
Yes. While most appointments are conducted via telehealth, in-person visits are available for patients who prefer them. Contact us to discuss in-person options.
Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone) is an FDA-approved medication used to treat opioid use disorder. It works by reducing cravings and withdrawal symptoms without producing the same high as opioids. Whether it’s appropriate for you will be determined during your assessment with Shivani.
No. This is a common misconception. Using FDA-approved medication to treat addiction is no different than using medication to treat any other medical condition. MAT is a clinically proven path to recovery and is fully supported by major medical organizations including SAMHSA and the CDC.
Yes. All appointments and communications are fully confidential and protected under HIPAA. Your privacy is taken seriously at every single step of your care.
Not without your written consent. Your health information cannot be shared with anyone – including family members or employers – without your explicit permission.
Relapse is a common part of many people’s recovery journey -it does not mean treatment has failed. If you experience a relapse, we encourage you to reach out immediately. Shivani will work with you to adjust your treatment plan without judgment.
Please contact us directly for current information on accepted insurance plans and payment options. We’re happy to help you understand your coverage before your first appointment.
